Overview
Oracle Discoverer is an ‘end of life’ solution, and as of June 2017 will no longer be supported by Oracle. So as to mitigate the impact of this to Discoverer users, the Finance Information Delivery Framework project has been tasked with implementing a suitable replacement.
Current State
Following a period of in-depth analysis during Phase 2 of the project, it was established that we could deliver an alternative to all of the centrally-developed ‘FINREP’ Discoverer reports via new/updated CUFS and Cognos reports.
During Phase 3 of the project, we will be developing the required changes to CUFS & Cognos reports and communicating these to impacted Discoverer users.
