• Business planning: strong financials to underpin academic/strategic vision
• Business partnering: financial expertise and targeted advice to support informed decision-making.
• Effective resource management and financial efficiency improving financial sustainability.
• Financial reporting, analyses and insight: aligned to strategic priorities and non-financial metrics.
• oversight of institutional financial controls, financial stewardship, policy and governance.
• Influence over organisation and operation of finance support throughout relevant institution.
• Management of relationships with external organisations.
• Contribution to the management of School-wide professional services issues.
