Public programmes

Staff looking to pursue an AAT qualification without an apprenticeship may wish to attend a public programme from one of the local providers. Unfortunately there is no central funding for this method of study so funding will need to be achieved either from the department or self-funded by the individual looking to study.

Study methods

There are many different study methods:

  • Classroom
  • Virtual Classes
  • Online live webinars
  • Online pre-recorded videos

The costs will vary depending on the level you are studying and the method of study that you choose. You will need to consider:

  • Course fees
  • Any additional materials
  • AAT assessment fees (with a possible administration fee)
  • AAT student membership (annual)
  • AAT one off admission fee

Training Providers

There are many training providers which staff can use.

AAT has a search tool which will help you find providers offering local classroom courses or distance learning options.

The Finance Training team have negotiated a discount with the local provider First Intuition. In order to take advantage of the discounts you will need to book through the Finance Training team. For more information or to make a booking email the Finance Training team at:
