Who are CIPS ?
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply are the leading body representing the field of purchasing and supply chain management. They have a 90,000 strong network of professionally recognised and qualified members including leading business people, professional managers and academics. Their aim is to promote and develop high standards of professional skill, ability and integrity among all those engaged in purchasing and supply chain management.
CIPS have recently undertaken a qualifications review and their new syllabus is now being delivered. There are five levels, the level at which an individual will begin their studies will depend on work experience and previous qualifications.
CIPS Qualifications are internationally recognised.
CIPS Qualifications are equivalent to:

Ideal for those whose role has been expanded to include purchasing responsibilities, as well as those who are new to the function or would like to have their previous experience and knowledge accredited.
An ideal starting point for those who are new to the profession and are likely to progress their membership over time.
Provide a suite of qualifications that allow an individual to progress up to degree level. They will gain an advanced understanding of purchasing and supply management as well as cover essential issues which affect the business.
