Overview

The University of Cambridge Sites and Buildings Regulations as adopted and approved 19 March 2012 allow Departments equipped with necessary expertise to apply for approval to undertake minor construction works and maintenance, providing they act in the same way and follow processes and procedures that Estate Management (EM) is required to follow.

No works are to be arranged by Departments until formal approval is received from Buildings Committee in accordance with the Regulations.

Works can only be arranged by Departments within limits as defined by Buildings Committee approval.
