We welcome your feedback on this new draft policy by 31 March 25.
This new draft policy on Financial and Trade Sanctions will impact all University activities, particularly in the areas of sales, students, suppliers, procurement, research, donations and international working. This is an opportunity for you to ensure that the policy appropriately addresses your department's activities, as the link to sanctions may not always be immediately clear.
The purpose of the draft policy is to provide a clear statement on how the University will comply with the UK's financial and trade sanction legislation and to outline the potential consequences of non-compliance. It also emphasises the responsibility of all University staff and connected individuals to actively assess and address any associated risks.
